"Cleo"

 

Sometimes good fortune smiles on us, and it surely did when we had the opportunity to add this beautiful and athletic mare to our program.  From 2002-2005, Cleo and her junior exhibitor owner/rider won titles all over New York and the New England area in Classic Pleasure Saddle classes.

For us, Cleo will embark on a new career.  Our plans are to raise superior foals from her that are capable of continuing in their illustrious dam's show ring hoofprints.    Purchased in part due to having bloodlines of some of my favorite Morgans;  not only for their beauty and show titles, but for their incredible contributions to the Morgan breed as sires and dams.  When breeding, not only do you have to consider the individual standing in front of you, but the horses that came together to create each individual.   In Cleo's case, we feel she is of little gamble.  Her heritage has come from outstanding Morgan horses.

She produced our beautiful Ancan True Spirit in 2007 and is open for 2008.  She is a top producing mare!

We *use* our broodmares, and Cleo has thoroughly enjoyed the autumn trail riding season.  She has been rode by two different teenage girls; both intermediate level riders.  She goes through/over everything asked of her while on a trail and is very sane and confident.  She is a wonderful, versatile, all around great Morgan mare!
