Ancan Colt Of Many Colors

Palomino colt, foaled April 19, 2012 at 4:10 AM

I couldn't be more pleased with this fancy boy.   He has a beautiful head with large, wide-set eyes, little tippy ears, and a bright blaze of white and three socks to set it all off.  He is has an upright neck, laid-back shoulder, smooth topline, and a deep/full hip.   Line-bred to Waseeka's Nocturne, which you can see in his beauty and incredible disposition.

He leads, ties (single or cross-tie), stands for grooming, picks up his feet, and is easy to catch in the pasture (he comes to you of his own free will).  He is still a little uncertain of clippers, but he let me clip him for the yearly photos (above) without a twitch.  He is also a little unsure of fly-spray and a hose bath, but he is improving and will be quiet about this soon, too.

Already gelded, he is growing like mad.  He will easily mature to over 15 hh, like both his parents.  I'm confident in saying he will likely be 15.2hh when he finishes, and probably 1200 pounds.  With his golden good looks he will draw attention no matter what division of work he is performing.
