"Legend"

1994, beautiful, dark bay mare with a ton of pizzazz and ability.  Shown park harness (and some park saddle) most of her life, she moves with animation and motion off all four.  She has outstanding conformation as well.  I'm very happy to have this great mare and I'm excited to have her attributes available to my breeding program.

Both her parents were successful show horses and producers of the same, so it is no fluke that Legend is as nice as she is.  She comes from proven, solid bloodlines and is bred to breed on. 

She is a great trail horse, too.  She doesn't hesitate at any obstacle; streams, lakes, mud, downed trees, nothing.  She doesn't spook, jig, or prance, and is safe and fun to ride.  All you have to do is ask her to turn it on and she's a park horse again.  We trail rode her for 40 minutes to get to the park where the english-saddle pictures were taken.  She aired up when asked, then we dropped her reins and she flat-foot walked off calmly and sanely.  She will happily do anything asked of her and is probably suited to any level rider.  She is shown barefoot in all her trotting pictures.  That's just what she does naturally.

This kind, willing, sweet mare is a wonderful broodmare as well.  She has been a devoted and attentive mother to a beautiful, high-headed, and very talented 2008 filly.
